Kate is what most would call a Jill of all trades and a master of none. But what most folks fail to realize is that well known phrase continues in its original form to say, “…but oftentimes better than a master of one.”
In other words, Kate could survive as a castaway on a desert island. Practically speaking, she earned her bachelors degree in multimedia journalism, and has earned many awards in visual art, storytelling and writing along the way. She has worked on and off in the fields of art, print and multimedia journalism, as well as in the medical field, for the past decade. Her multimedia background includes work in sculpture and graphic design, writing, copy editing and photojournalism. She’s a homesteader and do-it-yourselfer; an artist, photographer, editor, dog breeder/lover, tinkerer, musician, marksman, horse whisperer, hobby farmer, entrepreneur… Always learning, always exploring.
